10:30 am We depart from Uyuni towards the largest Salt Desert in the world visiting:
– The Train Graveyard (vintage trains from the late 1800’s)
– The town of Colchani (souvenirs & salt production museum)
– Salt Mounds (dry season)
– Dakar monument
– Salt Hotel Playa Blanca (1st salt hotel within the salt desert & flag location)
13:00 pm Lunch
– Isla Incahuasi (giant cacti and 360 viewer of the salt desert)
– perspective photography
18:30 pm Approximate arrival to the small town of San Juan. Here we will provide dinner and basic salt lodge accommodations.
DAY 2
08:00 am After breakfast we depart towards Laguna Colorada visiting:
– Salar de Chiguana
– Volcan Ollague viewer
– Laguna Canapa
– Laguna Hedionda
13:00 pm Lunch
– Laguna Honda
– Desierto de Siloli
– Arbol de Piedra (rock formation)
– Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon)
18:30 pm Approximate arrival to Huallajara. Here we will provide dinner and basic salt lodge accommodations.
DAY 3
05:00 am Early in the morning we depart towards Laguna Verde visiting:
– Geysers Sol de Manana (volcanic location / 4950 masl)
– Chalviri Hot Springs
7:30 am Breakfast
– Desierto de Dali (rock formations)
– Laguna Verde viewer
– Volcan Llicancabur viewer
After the visit we depart back toward the city of Uyuni passing and visiting the following locations:
– Lagua Capina viewer
– Mallku Villa Mar (lunch)
– Villa Alota wet lands (bofedales)
– San Cristobal mining town (Stone Colonial Church)
18:30 pm Approximate arrival to the city of Uyuni.
